Executed documentation is often stored in a format and/or location that does not permit easy access to its contents. Such documentation is an invaluable source of legal and commercial data that can be used to inform the day-to-day decision making of risk management and front office departments.

DRS has developed a service to analyse portfolios of executed documentation, extract key legal and commercial data and record such data in a central repository (either a bespoke database or an existing client system).

DRS can deploy a team of experienced document analysts, managed by senior DRS staff, to conduct an extensive review of the identified portfolio of documentation. The range of data extracted and recorded can be tailored to the client's individual requirements.

The creation of a central data record provides the following benefits:

• immediate access to core data (e.g. scope of termination events, rating downgrade triggers, collateral management terms);
• enhanced reporting to illustrate compliance (or non-compliance) with documentation guidelines and
